A Great Tool For Writing Persuasive Essays

It’s tough writing essays. Whether you’re an adult or a kid.  Organizing your thoughts. Outlining ideas and examples. And even then, essays need editing and rewriting, and most kids don’t understand that.

A tool that I use in classroom to help my students write persuasive essays is a graphic organizer. It works well because it provides my students with a form that they can simply fill in to help them to organize what they are thinking about.

I have included two options that you can use with your child. One graphic organizer is linear and the other is more like filling in a map. They both work very well. Let your kid choose which they prefer.

Encourage them to use these graphic organizers and watch how their writing improves.
