The Best Time Saving Tool Around: Volunteer Spot
It’s tough organizing groups of people. Whether you’re trying to coordinate parent/teacher conferences, a work party, soccer practice, or any other event that needs organization, it can be a headache figuring out who does what, who brings what and where and when it’s to be. Evite is a pain. But I found an interesting tool/application that can help parents save time when putting together everything from a school fundraiser to a class snack list. It is called Volunteer Spot and it’s as easy to use as hard-boiling an egg (hopefully you can do that).
Volunteer Spot (www.VolunteerSpot.com) has developed this free and easy to use tool to help and encourage people to volunteer at local organizations. But it can be used for anything. And it’s a great tool.
Check it out. Because the next time you forget who’s turn it is to read to the class, bring snack for a field trip or volunteer at a local organization, VolunteerSpot will set you straight. When you need to organize a possibly disparate group of people, lose your clipboard sign up sheet, forget reply-all email, use this tool!
To get started and help save time during the busy holidays, Volunteer Spot is offering a Giving Tree Giveaway . Plan a holiday service event on VolunteerSpot and Arbor Day Foundation will plant a tree in your name in a national forest.
