A Great Place To Find Terrific Picture Books
As a teacher, one of the most difficult things to find are good multi-cultural children’s books. One publisher does a great job at it, Children’s Book Press, out of San Francisco. They have many bilingual books (Spanish/English), books written about the Latino, African American, Pacific Islander, Asian and Native American cultures. There are also terrific non-fiction titles that can be used to introduce a variety of historical topics of the United States and books about both urban and rural life. They have books for everyone. And the art in the books is beautiful.
Again, they have terrific books that you can use to introduce kids to different topics.
Check it out – this publisher is a hidden secret and they publish quality books. And they’re a non- profit as well.

I carry books from Children’s Book Press and absolutely love their books. As a bookseller, I read everything I offer and truly enjoy the book CBP publishes. They have a great mission. Thanks for sharing!
