Prepare For Summer: Sidewalk Murals Anyone?
It may be obvious to some, but Sidewalk Chalk is a great tool for hot summer afternoons when you don’t have time to take your kid someplace, but you want them to be outside. Sidewalk murals are truly a lost art.
Take a box of Sidewalk Chalk and let them draw all over the neighborhood. They can write names, draw pictures, trace themselves and the list goes on and on. And the best part, it washes away.
One of my personal favorite things to do is to write an on-going poem on the sidewalk as a way to travel from one point to another. Here is an example of doing that from the public art collaborative I run – check it out- it might inspire you.
